Ever since its introduction in Time Gazer [S10D], Item card Switch Cart has become a staple of a wide range of Pokémon TCG decks for the consistency and flexibility it affords. Most prominently seen in the Raging Bolt ex deck, Switch Cart is also an important card in the Lost Zone Box, Klawf/Terapagos ex, and Snorlax decks, among others.

About Switch Cart (Time Gazer [S10D] 060/067)

Switch Cart is only playable if the player’s current Active Pokémon happens to be a Basic Pokémon. When such is the case, the player can play Switch Cart to swap it out for a Pokémon on the Bench. Following this, the formerly Active Pokémon which is now on the Bench will have 30 HP restored if it has sustained such damage. Switch Cart therefore provides an easy pivoting option for Basic-centric decks such as those previously mentioned while also extending the survivability of such decks’ most important Pokémon.

This card is almost entirely notable for its gameplay value. As far as its collectability is concerned, there isn’t all that much to get overly excited about—the card’s rarity of Uncommon (U) certainly isn’t the most impressive by any means.

In English, this card is card 154/189 from Astral Radiance.

Since it isn’t rare at all, a copy of a Switch Cart (Time Gazer [S10D] 060/067) card is affordable, going for just 350 JPY (~US$2.20).
