Minecraft transcends its pixelated origins, venturing beyond the confines of the screen and into the realm of apparel. Following successful collaborations with Crocs and PUMA, the block-building game now sets its sights on Herzogenaurach, Germany, forging a partnership with the legacy sportswear brand adidas.

About the Minecraft x adidas Collection

This first of the Minecraft x adidas Collection sees the quintessential Superstar reimagined, its canvas adorned with a playful pixelated aesthetic. Clean white and black hues dominate, punctuated by subtle Minecraft branding and a Creeper lace dubrae, a mischievous nod to the game’s most infamous mob. The heel tab is reminiscent of verdant grass blocks.

The Handball Spezial, on the other hand, is dedicated to Enderman. Clad in an all-black suede, the shoe features pixelated Three Stripes and a menacing Enderman head adorning the lace dubrae; its purple eyes subtly mirrored on the Handball Spezial logo. A nod to its otherworldly origins further emphasizes the Enderman’s presence—the back of the heel subtly hints at the Ender Pearl, the key to accessing the game’s final realm.

This digital-to-physical translation extends beyond footwear. The collection also boasts a range of apparel, including crewnecks and sweatpants adorned with the Creeper texture, accompanied by t-shirts that feature a playful reimagining of the Trefoil logo, engulfed in the fiery glow of Minecraft’s in-game fire.

Release Details

The Minecraft x adidas Collection is expected to launch in June 2025. Available in kids’ sizes, the apparel collection will range from US$25 to US$60, with footwear pricing yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
