1. About Nike EKIDEN Pack

For the 2021-2022 Ekiden season, Nike has created an EKIDEN Pack with graphics inspired by the mountainous landscapes of Japan!

Ekiden is a Japanese track and field event in which several people run long distances in a relay format and compete for the time. Since the first Ekiden race was held in 1917, it has become a popular national event, with viewer ratings exceeding 30% for television broadcasts.

Nike has designed running shoes inspired by this traditional event that has lasted for over 100 years. The orange color is inspired by the early morning sunrise, and the red color expresses the energy of the athletes. The “Nike Air ZoomX Alphafly NEXT%” and “Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2”, which have set many new records, as well as the “Nike Zoomfly 4” and “Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38”, which are used for training and other activities, are scheduled to be released.
