Nike V5 RNR [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Nike's response to a budget-friendly runner.
As consumers become more discerning about their spending, budget-friendly, comfortable options from brands like ASICS, Saucony, and New Balance are gaining popularity. Nike is responding to this trend with the V5 RNR, a US$90 mesh runner slated for a 2025 release.
About the Nike V5 RNR
Inspired by the design language of Y2K and early 2010s performance runners, the Nike V5 RNR borrows elements from popular models like the ASICS GEL-1130 and New Balance 530 and 740. Its multi-layered construction, with wide-spaced mesh panels, contributes to its retro aesthetic. The White Malachite and Beige Metallic Pewter colorways, with their metallic silver overlays, further emphasize this Y2K vibe.
Classic Nike branding adorns the midfoot, tongue tag, and heel tab. The foam midsole with a midfoot reinforcement and rubber outsole provide a balance of comfort and durability.
The Nike V5 RNR, Nike’s answer to a more affordable runner than the Zoom Vomero series, will be making its debut in multiple colorways, including White Malachite, Black Anthracite, and Beigh Metallic Pewter.
Release Details
The Nike V5 RNR will be arriving in men’s sizing for US$90. They will launch in Spring 2025 via Nike and select retailers. Stay tuned for an official release date soon.
