It’s almost unexpected to see SATISFY, a brand deeply rooted in outdoor pursuits like trail running and rock climbing, teaming up with Levi’s®, a brand synonymous with classic denim. But this collaboration doesn’t signal any departure from SATISFY’s commitment to performance-driven design. Instead, the brand is reimagining the iconic Levi’s® 501, turning it into outdoor-ready pants built to withstand the rigors of rock climbing in December 2024.

About the SATISFY x Levi’s Collaboration

For this project, SATISFY founder Brice Partouche sourced 200 vintage 501 jeans from the Levi’s® archives, spanning the 1980s and 1990s. These handpicked pieces were then re-engineered with a blend of utility and durability in mind.

Updates include an adjustable waistband for a customizable fit and a zippered chalk bag integrated into the left back pocket for quick access during climbs. To reinforce high-stress areas like the knees and crotch, SATISFY employed Rippy™ Dyneema®, a cutting-edge material known for its exceptional strength and abrasion resistance. The fabric’s four-way stretch enhances mobility, allowing climbers to move with greater ease.
