[Update 10 Dec 2024] Full details of the KAWS x Squid Game collaboration have emerged! The release features a 15-inch vinyl figure of Young-hee, available in both colored and monotone variations. Priced at 2,500 HKD (~US$322) each, the figures will launch on 19 December, 9:30PM (EST) via DDTSTORE.com. Interested fans can register now through the website.
A limited-time pop-up will also be held at Shinsegae Gangnam in Seoul, South Korea, from 13 to 18 December. Adding to the excitement, KAWS gifted BTS’ J-Hope a special Friends & Family set, which includes a unique Young-hee KAWS mask.
Anticipation continues to build for Season 2 of Netflix’s Squid Game! Ahead of the premier happening in late December, the franchise has now collaborated with American artist KAWS for a special release.
About the KAWS x Squid Game Collaboration
A teaser image showcases KAWS’ COMPANION taking on a new design form, inspired by Young-hee, the animatronic doll that sent shivers down viewers’ spines with her appearance in the series.
