Paige Bueckers, widely regarded as one of the top college basketball players in the US, is gearing up for her final season with the University of Connecticut. After battling through a series of injuries, Bueckers is determined to lead the UConn Huskies back to the pinnacle of women’s college basketball, aiming to secure a national championship before transitioning to what promises to be an illustrious career in the WNBA.

Ahead of her senior campaign, Nike is honoring Bueckers—one of their NIL athletes—with a special edition sneaker: the Nike GT Hustle 3, set to release in December 2024. This milestone makes Bueckers the first NIL athlete to receive a Nike signature-inspired sneaker.

About the Paige Bueckers x Nike GT Hustle 3

The Nike GT Hustle 3, which debuted in July as part of the Blueprint Pack and later appeared in the Electric Pack tied to the 2024 Summer Olympics, has seen multiple colorways leading up to the basketball season. Nike’s latest rollout marks the first retail release of a shoe tied to the rising star.

The Paige Bueckers x Nike GT Hustle 3 will feature a vibrant multi-color design, reflecting personal elements from Buecker’s life and career. Nike highlights the inclusion of area codes “860” and “612” on the upper, nodding to UConn (860) and her hometown of Edina, Minnesota (612). The sneaker also features her nickname and personal mantra printed on the sockliner.

Retailer images reveal an engineered mesh upper with a gradient fade from blue to stark white. Bold magenta accents pop on the TPU Swoosh along the midfoot and on the tongue branding, which includes a tribute to Paige.

Release Details

The Paige Bueckers x Nike GT Hustle 3 will be available in men’s sizing at Nike and select retailers on 7 December 2024, with a price tag of US$190.
