[Update 26 May 2025] Get ready for the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Nitro” to drop in August 2025. This fresh take on the iconic silhouette draws inspiration from Sylvester’s 2022 Air Jordan 1 High sample.

The shoe features a black tumbled leather upper complemented by Muslin Swooshes and distinctively aged red outsoles. Adding to its BMX-inspired aesthetic, you’ll find mini Swooshes on the toe, “Bike Air” branding on the tongue and insole, and “Jordan Biking Co. EST. 2017” detailed on the liner.

While the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “White/Varsity Red/Black” has reportedly been canceled for 2025, sneakerheads can now look forward to the Chicago-inspired colorway making its debut on the AJ1 Low in Fall 2025.

Though product visuals remain under wraps, this pair is said to be an NRG (Energy) release, showcasing a Black, Muslin, and Varsity Red color palette inspired by the iconic “Chicago” colorway from the original 1985 AJ1 High lineup.
