Nike GS C1TY “Year of the Snake” [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
The titular pair's key feature is a playful tongue design.
The Nike C1TY, a recent addition to the Beaverton brand’s lineup, has been aggressively marketed, particularly in New York City, where “Nothing Beats The C1TY” posters featuring Jalen Brunson are ubiquitous. Nike is further amplifying the model by including a kid’s colorway in their “Year of the Snake” collection slated to arrive in early 2025.
About the Nike GS C1TY “Year of the Snake”
Similar to the upcoming “Year of the Snake” Dunk Low and Air Force 1 for kids, the C1TY’s key feature is a playful tongue design. A small red snake tongue accent and colorful “Just Do It” text with snake illustrations add a meta-textual touch. The shoe’s base is crafted from white leather, a departure from the usual mesh construction, and is overlaid with grey suede panels. An olive green leather Swoosh with red detailing complements the upper, while the off-white and brown color blocking on the outsole highlights the C1TY’s grippy tread.
Release Details
The Nike GS C1TY “Year of the Snake” is slated for a Spring 2025 release, likely coinciding with the Lunar New Year in late January. Stay tuned for an official release date soon.
