The German retailer has unveiled a custom cement mixer truck adorned with elephant print graphics and co-branding, perfectly capturing the essence of the legendary sneaker.

The Nike Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” holds a special place in sneaker history. Its original release in 1988 coincided with the NBA All-Star Game, where Michael Jordan showcased his unparalleled talent, scoring 40 points and leading his team to victory. Jordan Brand commercials featuring the GOAT himself wearing the iconic AJ3s further cemented its legendary status.

The sneaker has seen several retro releases throughout the years, each with its own unique details. The 2001 retro featured the original Nike Air branding, while the 2008 release was part of the Countdown Pack and sported the Jumpman logo. The 2011 retro, however, was met with disappointment due to subpar leather quality and the absence of Nike Air.

After a seven-year hiatus, the OG “Black Cement” made a triumphant comeback in 2018. Now, in 2023, the legendary sneaker is poised to once again grace sneaker store shelves, offering fans another chance to own a piece of basketball history.
