One Piece is the flagship and longest-running manga series of shōnen animanga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump. As such, on occasion the magazine or one of its sister publications—in this case V Jump—will be involved in a ONE PIECE Card Game promotion. This is once again the case with the promotional Trafalgar Law which will be available starting from 21 November 2024.

About Trafalgar Law (Promotional Cards P-088)

This card will be distributed with the January 2025 issue of V Jump which will be sold starting from 21 November. Something to note about this card is its illustration which is taken from One Piece Treasure Cruise, a free-to-play mobile video game. The fact that it’s a promotional card featuring Law is also likely to draw much interest as the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates consistently ranks as one of the most popular characters of the entire One Piece franchise.

This will also likely be a card which is expected to see gameplay viability. That’s because many ONE PIECE Card Game players anticipate it to be a core part of the Yellow Kid deck once its titular card releases following the launch of Royal Blood [OP-10]. Some players have even expressed dismay at the fact that this potentially metagame-relevant card will be more difficult to obtain for some due to its status as a promotional card.

Release Details

It isn’t yet known if this card will ever be released in English. In addition, its sale price will only be known after the earliest copies to make it to the open market do so. Do stay with us for more on that.
