In addition to the high-performance SuperComp Elite v4, New Balance has also unveiled a special “NYC Marathon” edition of its versatile 1080v14 late October. This model is designed to handle a variety of running surfaces, from city streets to treadmill workouts.

The New Balance 1080v14 “NYC Marathon” features a sleek design with a blue base and a khaki-colored midsole. The shoe is adorned with marathon-themed branding, including the NYC Marathon logo on the tongue and insoles, as well as “New York City” text along the lateral New Balance logo. Men’s sizes showcase a vibrant blue, green, and yellow gradient on the midsole, while women’s sizes feature a pink and orange gradient with gum soles.

The New Balance 1080v14 “NYC Marathon” is part of New Balance’s broader NYC Marathon collection, which also includes apparel and other footwear options. The pair was made available on New Balance’s website on 31 October 2024 and runs for US$165 at retail.
