New Balance continues to honor the iconic 1500 silhouette with a special release in November 2024 to mark its 35th anniversary. Following the grey anniversary edition in April, the brand has partnered with Japanese artisans at M.Lab to create a unique take on the classic “MADE in UK” model.
About the New Balance 1500 MADE in JAPAN “35th Anniversary”
The New Balance 1500 MADE in JAPAN “35th Anniversary” features a premium upper crafted from locally sourced nubuck and smooth leather in a light grey hue. Blue panels accent the forefoot and quarter, while soft yellow stitching adds a pop of color to the branded elements. To add a distinctive touch, the shoe boasts a smaller “N” logo and larger “1500” text than the standard version.
Release Details
This limited-edition release will be available on 28 November 2024 through New Balance Japan and the New Balance Harajuku store. The retail price is set at 79,200 JPY (~US$520).
As an added bonus, New Balance will be giving away an indigo-dyed colorway to three myNB members with platinum rewards program status.
