New Balance continues to capitalize on the overwhelming success of their 1906R silhouette. This year alone, we’ve seen a plethora of high-profile collaborations and countless colorways, solidifying the sneaker’s status as a cultural icon. Now, the brand is expanding the 1906 family with a new military-inspired variant: the 1906M.

About the New Balance 1906M “Metallic Pink”

While the overall shape of the 1906M remains true to its predecessor, the upper has received a significant overhaul. The signature diamond-pattern Fantomfit overlays, originally seen on the 950v2, have been incorporated to give the sneaker a more rugged aesthetic. The Metallic Pink finish on these overlays provides a striking contrast against the Grey knit base.

Additional details include Grey suede overlays on the vamp and eyestays, a TPU heel counter, and a leather mudguard, all of which complement the metallic pink accents. The N logo on the midfoot is part of the Nlock system, ensuring a secure fit. Underneath, the 1906M features the same comfortable foam midsole and rubber outsole found on the 860v2.

Release Details
