Kaikai Kiki, the art conglomerate led by Japanese graphic artist Takashi Murakami, has partnered with the publication Casa Brutus to release Casa Books: Takashi Murakami and the World of Trading Cards, a catalog featuring trading cards produced by the company along with highlights of the world of TCG.

The book explores intriguing questions such as: Why does Takashi Murakami create trading cards? What are trading cards at their core? And why do they soar in value?

It is structured in two parts: a catalog showcasing over 1,000 trading cards released by Kaikai Kiki, both past and upcoming, and an introductory guide explaining the world of trading cards. Additionally, the book includes a bonus pack with three randomly selected cards from the “108 Flowers” series, out of 40 possible designs.

Priced at 1,980 JPY (~US$14), the Caca Brutus “Takashi Murakami and the World of Trading Cards” Book will officially launch on 25 November 2024 via bookstores and TCG retailers across Japan. Don’t miss out!
