Balenciaga’s seasonal collections always culminate in a stunning showcase of innovative sneaker designs. After the recent Stapler Sneaker, the luxury brand has doubled down on their unconventional footwear with a new Basketball Sneaker showcased in their Summer 25 collection.

About the Balenciaga Basketball Sneaker

The Basketball Sneaker, true to Balenciaga’s signature aesthetic, features a distressed, worn-out effect that lends a rebellious edge to its classic silhouette. The Loop Sports Icon logo is subtly debossed on the upper, while the Size and Balenciaga logos are embossed on the exaggerated sole front.

A nylon zip closure, cleverly concealed beneath a velcro microfiber flap, adds a functional touch to the design. The sneaker was showcased in an extensive range of colorways, including dirty white, red, and metallic iterations.

Release Details

The Balenciaga Basketball Sneaker will be available for pre-order starting 1 October, with a global launch expected in the near future via Balenciaga.
