Now, Tom Sachs has officially broken the silence, unveiling a sneaker that’s less an update and more a considered evolution. The familiar Martian landscape of the 1.0 and 2.0—Maple, Sport Red, Sail, and Tan—remains.

Suede addresses the mudguard, eyestays, and heel, while a TPU toecap provides a pragmatic shield against the elements, complemented by a breathable open-mesh polyester base layer. The addition of a lacekeeper, along with staggered eyestays and oversized eyelets, speaks to refined attention to detail.

The sole, the foundation of this lunar-inspired design, has been significantly reimagined. A full-length React foam midsole provides a cushioned ride, while a TPU heel clip ensures stability. The outsole underfoot is a composite of natural rubber and a carbon fiber plate ready to conquer any terrain, from the red planet to the urban jungle.
