[Update 16 Jul 2025] After months following the initial reveal, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens collection is finally set for a release! The lineup consists of the 1460/1461 Boots and Penton/1461 Shoes, both featuring a mix of white virginia and smooth leather upper with matching welt stitches and sole unit.

The pairs will launch on 17 July via both brands’ websites and select retailers. Retail prices are set at 71,500 JPY (~US$480) for the boots and 66,000 JPY (~US$443) for the shoes.

[Update 4 Oct 2024] Exciting news! We are getting more than just one pair of MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens footwear for SS25. Latest images have unveiled an alternative white colorway of the 1460 8-Eye Boots, and also a white pair of loafers. Check them out in the gallery above!

MM6 Maison Margiela has teamed up with Dr. Martens for a collaborative footwear release. Unveiled during the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 runway show, the partnership highlights the iconic 1460 8-Eye Boots, reimagined with a unique MM6 twist.

About the MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens 1460 8-Eye Boots

The upper’s color, a seemingly faded white, is a result of hand-painting white over black leather, echoing Margiela’s renowned “Bianchetto” method. As time passes and the paint gradually wears away, the aged patina becomes a unique feature of the boots. The MM6 logo is subtly etched on the side, adding a touch of understated elegance.
