New Balance continues to expand its popular 1906 family with the introduction of the 1906U. This utility-focused version offers a more robust look compared to the classic 1906R, featuring additional materials and paneling. A new “Linen/Dark Olivine” iteration is on its way, slated for release this September.

About the New Balance 1906U “Linen/Dark Olivine”

The new colorway showcases a distinctive blend of textures. A creamy mesh base is complemented by asymmetrical panels of grey and green suede, as well as olive leather at the toe.

A large, beige overlay dominates the midfoot, prominently displaying the 1906U branding and sitting alongside the iconic N logo. More olive leather extends up to the eyelets, while tonal tan TPU reinforces the heel and tongue overlay.

To complete the design, the 1906U borrows a midsole from the 860v2, featuring a captivating combination of cream, brown, and green. This unique midsole sits atop a sleek black rubber outsole.

Release Details

Dropping in September 2024, the New Balance 1906U “Linen/Dark Olivine” will be available at select New Balance stores, online and in-store retailers. The pair will retail at US$160.
