To commemorate this momentous occasion, Nike presented Morant with a specially crafted Nike Ja 2 PE that encapsulates his remarkable journey at Murray State. The induction ceremony, an emotional celebration of Morant’s contributions to the Racers, was marked by nostalgia and pride as he stood beside his retired jersey. The presentation of the Nike Ja 2 PE unveiled a stunning spectacle.

The bespoke wooden box, adorned with the Racer’s emblem and Morant’s #12, immediately captivated the audience. Upon opening the box, a breathtaking pair of sneakers emerged, paying homage to Morant’s college years. The design, featuring a harmonious blend of blue and white, mirrored the colors of the Racers.

The meticulously detailed interior of the box chronicled his remarkable journey, highlighting his Consensus All-American 1st Team recognition, OVC Player of the Year award, Bob Cousy Award, OVC Tournament MVP title, and All-OVC First Team selection. These accolades underscored Morant’s impact on the court, where he amassed an impressive 1,213 points and led his team to 54 wins over two seasons.

Release Details

Although a Player Exclusive initially, the Nike Ja 2 “Murray State HOF” will get a public release on 26 September. Find them on the Nike SNKRS and select retailers then with an RRP of US$120.
