The Yu-Gi-Oh TCG World Championship 2024 will be held on 7-8 September at Fremont Studios in Seattle. Following nine separate qualifying tournaments around the world held in June and July 2024, a total of 28 players have punched their tickets to Seattle for a chance to become this year’s Yu-Gi-Oh TCG world champion.
How the Tournament Will Work

7 September, 8:40AM to 7PM: Swiss rounds, quarterfinals
8 September: semifinals and final; start time is contingent on the end time of other events
On 7 September, seven Swiss rounds will be played. The eight players with the best results across the Swiss rounds will advance to the quarterfinals, from which the tournament enters its straight knockout phase, The day’s play will conclude with the quarterfinals.
The next day, the semifinals and final will take place. Their start times will hinge on the end times of the semifinals and finals of the undercard events: the Speed Duel, Rush Duel, and Master Duel tournaments.
Prize Pool
Konami has always been notoriously tight-lipped about tournament prize pools. This is once again the case; as such, the tournament’s prize pool is known to none but tournament organizers and players.
