Beep beep! Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Taxi” is On its Way
Hitch a ride in these bright yellow Nike Air Jordan 1 Low "Taxi".
There are certain colorways in Nike’s repertoire that are instantly recognizable, such as the eye-catching Volt green, off-white Sail and striking Varsity Red. Among these colors, a recent stand out has been the Taxi yellow, which was inspired by New York’s (in)famous taxis. Its surge in popularity was due in part to the drop of the Air Jordan 1 High “Taxi” — a long-awaited release since it was first teased in 2019.
Following this, news of an Air Jordan 1 Low in the same “Taxi” colorway has arrived. White leather uppers are contrasted with bright yellow overlays. The Swoosh, too, adopts the Taxi yellow for a distinct look. The heels and laces are less blatant, with black washing over them. As always, the Jumpman logo is branded onto the tongue while Wings motifs make their dutiful appearance near the rear. Rounding out the design are white midsoles that end in yellow rubber outsoles.
This Air Jordan 1 Low “Taxi” will be released on 20th August and retail for ¥14,300 (~US$107). They will be made available in Men’s and GS sizing.
