Summer 2025 will welcome a refreshing take on the Nike Air Jordan 3 with the introduction of the “Rare Air” colorway. This iteration caters to aficionados of the coveted “Nike Air” branded heel tabs, a detail sure to resonate with purists.
The titular pair blends Black nubuck with accents of Chile Red, Neutral Grey, Military Blue, and Coconut Milk. The traditional elephant print is replaced by a lighter Grey leather on the heel, offering a subtle departure from the classic design. Grey and Military Blue nubuck grace the eyestays, tongues, and ankles, further enriching the visual texture.
Intriguing aged details adorn the majority of the midsole, complementing the Chile Red “Nike Air” branding on the heel tabs. As a playful motif, the left shoe retains the correctly oriented branding, while the right shoe features a reversed logo.
Housed in a Grey rubber outsole, the Air Jordan 3 OG “Rare Air” is scheduled for a Summer 2025 release at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com, retailing for US$200.
