Concepts, a popular select store based in the suburbs of Boston, USA, has collaborated with many brands in the past. This time, Concepts has collaborated with New Balance, another Boston-based brand.

This collaboration model pays homage to Frieda Rapoport Caplan, the female entrepreneur who introduced kiwi to the United States. The suede upper is reminiscent of kiwi skin, and the lime green accents are reminiscent us of the fruit’s flesh. The designing makes us feeling special shoe.
