[Update 7 Aug 2024] The PaperGirl x Vans collaboration, featuring the Old Skool and Authentic 44 silhouettes, is poised for a wider release. Initially launched in July at PaperBoy and Vans brick-and-click stores, the collection will become available at BEAMS on 10 August.

Skatewear giant Vans joins forces with PaperGirl, the sister brand of the trendy Parisian cafe PaperBoy Paris, for a vibrant footwear collaboration. This exciting partnership brings a touch of Parisian flair to classic Vans silhouettes, perfect for the whole family.

The centerpiece of the collection is the revamped LX Old Skool. This iconic Vans style gets a playful makeover with PaperGirl’s signature polka-dot print adorning the durable suede and canvas uppers. The polka-dot fun extends to the insoles and even the signature rubber waffle outsoles. A subtle PaperGirl logo adds a touch of branding on the heel counter.

To complete the look, the collection offers three different lace options: classic white, glow-in-the-dark pink with matching aglets, or black laces featuring the PaperGirl logo and petal pink aglets. The toddler version prioritizes comfort and ease with secure hook-and-loop closures.

The collaboration extends to the timeless Vans Authentic 44 as well. Inspired by the white Authentics worn by the girl in PaperGirl’s logo, this shoe is a blank canvas waiting to be customized—just like the placemats kids love to color on at PaperBoy. The PaperGirl touch shines through with polka-dot printed insoles and outsoles, plus a special PaperGirl font for the Vans logo.
