Ryota Iwai of AURALEE showcased his latest collaboration with New Balance during the label’s Spring/Summer 2025 presentation at Paris Fashion Week. Two distinct interpretations of the New Balance 475 silhouette were unveiled, building upon the success of their joint effort on the WRPD Runner and 990v4.

Originally introduced in the mid ’80s, the New Balance 475 has transcended trends to become a timeless training shoe. AURALEE’s vision retains the functionality of the original design, featuring a dual-density compression molded EVA midsole for enhanced cushioning. A breathable nylon upper is elevated with a luxurious suede overlay, while a slightly higher profile midsole and robust outsole ensure added grip and support.

The color palette reflects the thematic core of the AURALEE collection. One iteration embraces an earthy aesthetic, employing a sophisticated blend of grey and brown hues. The contrasting colorway features a light green upper for a more contemporary touch.

Stay tuned, the AURALEE x New Balance 475 launches in August at select retailers and online at New Balance for US$110.
