The adidas Samba continues to reign in the retro renaissance of the footwear world. General releases of this legacy silhouette perform well, but collaborations consistently elevate the Samba’s profile, and none have been more successful than those with Wales Bonner.

The young English designer is at the current apex of her career, establishing her talent not only through her eponymous label but also through her highly anticipated adidas collaborations. Her 2023 “Silver” and “Pony Leo” Sambas were undeniably some of the biggest releases of the year, and 2024 has already seen new colorways with another on the horizon.

@woganwodeyang recently offered a glimpse of a new, yet unnamed, colorway. This iteration evokes the essence of spring and summer with a refreshing palette.

White leather forms the base, with brown accents adorning the toe box, eyestays, and tongue. A signature element of the Wales Bonner x adidas collaboration, the tongue retains its extended silhouette, leading the eye to the rear of the shoe. Decorative stitching embellishes the collar opening, while the “Wales Bonner” imprint rests proudly on the lateral heel. A gum rubber outsole completes the design.

While details surrounding this upcoming Wales Bonner x adidas Samba colorway remain scarce, expect more information and images to surface in the coming weeks.
