[Update 5 Dec 2024] The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” has been confirmed for release on Mamba Day next year: 13 April 2025. Expect this special colorway on Nike SNKRS then with an RRP of US$190. In the meantime, check out the new images of the pair from @prm.cotd in the gallery above.

The highly anticipated Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” is confirmed to hit stores next year. This colorway was first seen on the feet of the Los Angeles Dodgers themselves, a gift from Vanessa Bryant. It’s a tribute to Kobe’s love for his hometown and the legendary baseball team.

The shoe boasts a Game Royal upper with clean White accents and pops of University Red, mirroring the Dodgers’ classic colors. This design is sure to be a hit with fans of both Kobe and the Dodgers.

The original version for players had some special features like Kobe’s jersey number and stitching that looked like baseball seams, but it’s not clear yet if those will make it to the final release. Either way, these shoes promise to be both stylish and performance-oriented, a fitting tribute to Kobe’s legacy and his LA roots.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” is projected to land at select Nike Basketball stores and online, including Nike.com, next year. They’ll be available in men’s and kids’ sizes, with a rumored price tag of US$190 for the adult version.
