Craig Green Reimagines the adidas SQUASH POLTA AKH with Three New Colorways
A retro collab for the ages.
British designer, Craig Green, joins forces with adidas once again! This time, the collaboration revisits the SQUASH POLTA AKH, a silhouette originally released in 1988. Three new colorways have been developed, ready to elevate your sneaker collection, each boasting a retro vibe.
The SQUASH POLTA AKH features a woven upper that offers a glimpse into the shoe’s inner workings. A suede mudguard adds a touch of durability, while iconic adidas branding graces the tongue and heel.
The colorways include “Hazy Green” with a soft green base accented by pops of grey, yellow, and blue, finished with a dark gum sole. “Dark Brown” offers similar grey and yellow accents with a bolder blue presence, all sitting on a black sole. Rounding out the pack, “Khaki” incorporates additional browns and the same rich blue hue, again on a dark gum sole.
The Craig Green x adidas SQUASH POLTA AKH sneakers have already launched in select regions like Japan, with a wider release anticipated soon. Each silhouette is expected to retail for around 38,500 JPY (~US$244).
