Reebok Is Bringing Back the Hammer Street With the “Gum Pack”
The silhouette might be reminiscent of the adidas Samba, but fans put them in a lane of their own.
Reebok is reintroducing its popular 1993 football footwear line, the Hammer. Originally known for its versatility on both the turf and the streets, the Hammer gained unexpected popularity and became a streetwear icon.
The new Hammer Street “Gum Pack” pays homage to its roots. The shoes feature a premium leather and suede upper—just like the original—along with a breathable tongue and the classic indoor soccer outsole. A modern twist comes with the distinctive T-toe shape, adding a fresh touch to the traditional Reebok style.
The pack has two colorways: “Black/White-Gum” and “White/Black-Gum”. It’s reported that additional colorways will be released later this year in the brand’s attempt to position this silhouette as a lifestyle shoe.
The Reebok Hammer Street “Gum Pack” is available in unisex sizes and comes at an RRP of US$100. They dropped via Reebok.com and select retailers on 1 April 2024. You can also get your hands on a pair via the SNKRDUNK App.
