[ONE PIECE Card Game] Charlotte Linlin (Pillars of Strength [OP-03] OP03-114) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]

Now here's something that doesn't come around too often—a card depicting a female character, but that not being the reason behind its value.

[Update 26 Sep 2024] This card is now one of the key cards in the Purple/Yellow Pudding deck. It’s a late-game powerhouse which not only has a huge damage output; when played, it also sends an opposing Character card with a cost of 6 or less to the opponent’s stack of Life cards.

ONE PIECE Card Game Charlotte Linlin

The Pillars of Strength [OP-03] ONE PIECE Card Game booster pack focuses on the many antagonists of the One Piece series. Charlotte Linlin, the main villain of the Whole Cake Island Saga, is among them—and she’s featured on this Super Rare Special (SR-SPC) card.

The card’s illustration shows Linlin, also known in-universe as “Big Mom”, at the peak of her powers alongside the three main “homies”—anthropomorphized versions of ordinary items which have had fragments of Linlin’s own soul infused into them. These are the thundercloud Zeus, the bicorne Napoleon, and the sun Prometheus—they’re Linlin’s most powerful weapons.

The depiction of Linlin herself reflects her childish, hedonistic, reckless nature. The matriarch of the Charlotte Family is shown strutting through a fantasy-like landscape without any care whatsoever—seemingly while wreaking havoc throughout.

While this card might be a full-art depiction of a female character, that factor doesn’t really come into play regarding the card’s value as Linlin isn’t the type of character who would appeal to the fanbase’s main demographics. However, the card’s exceptionally high rarity more than makes up for that.

This card has already been released in English.

The price of a Charlotte Linlin (Pillars of Strength [OP03-114]) card is 6,000 JPY (~US$40).
