From Chenille Swooshes to cut-out leather panels, Nike has been experimenting with a range of textures and materials as of late.

Last month, we were introduced to a pair of Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid “Wear-Away” where its black outer peels away to reveal a red color beneath. Now, a pair of Air Jordan 1 Low “Wear-Away” has surfaced.

Similar to its AJ1 Mid brother, the Nike Air Air Jordan 1 Low Wear-Away will sport a Black/White “Panda” color-blocking when it first arrives. Over time, the black overlay will wear away to reveal an electric green color beneath.

Elsewhere on the shoe, the Jumpman logo on the tongue also appears in a similar shade of vibrant Electric Green, while the Swoosh and Wings logo retain their jet black color.

In other sneaker-related news, the Nike Air Kukini gets the “superhero” treatment.
