The New Balance 9060 “Clay Ash” Is Out Now
Explore the captivating blend of vintage charm and modern flair with this colorway.
[Update 1 Apr 2024] Despite being slated for a March release, the New Balance 9060 “Clay Ash” was only released yesterday, 1 April 2024. The shoe is currently available at NewBalance.com for an RRP of US$150.
New Balance has been making quite a comeback lately. Part of their success story, marked by a remarkable 23% boost in sales, is owed to their fresh take on classic designs, like the fan-favorite New Balance 9060. Adding to the ever-growing roster, they are introducing a new “Clay Ash” colorway to this Y2K-inspired sneaker.
The “Clay Ash” colorway is a clever blend of old-school vibes and futuristic flair, crafted with a mix of mesh, nubuck, and leather for the upper. Picture earthy tones of Clay Ash overlaid with soft creams and tans, creating a palette that suits both minimalist and daring fashion tastes.
Dark vintage rose accents on the lace set and tongue tag give just the right amount of pop against the subdued backdrop. The “N” branding at the side has a reflective finish, not just for looks but also for that premium touch and enhanced visibility.
Comfort meets style in the 9060’s sole unit. A chunky foam midsole, shaded with vintage vibes, is decked out with foam pods in dark vintage rose. Plus, the durable black rubber outsole ensures these kicks are ready to conquer the concrete jungle.
The New Balance 9060 “Clay Ash” is slated to come out in March 2024. They’ll be dropping online and in select stores, retailing at US$150 for men’s sizes.
