Although ClimaCool technology has been in several silhouettes since then, the ClimaCool 1 hasn’t really made much headway—until now. The adidas ClimaCool 1 “Core Black/Red/Footwear White” is widely anticipated to be a tremendous success.

Seven years ago, this colorway was released to an impressive reaction. Its mesh base and clear TPU cage allude to old-school runner aesthetics.

The sneaker’s palette has a red heel and sole accents as its defining features. It will be released alongside a mostly-black colorway.
