[Update 22 Jul 2022] Official images and details have landed for this collaboration! During PSG’s match with Kawasaki Frontale, fans would notice that the football club members were donning kits that strayed from their usual. These were from the teased Paris Saint-Germain x Verdy collection, and it has come to light that they were produced by the Jordan Brand.

Player names were distinctively written in curled typeface — a style that Verdy often employs. Vick also makes an appearance with the back numbers. These Paris Saint-Germain x Verdy collaboration apparel will be made exclusively available in the EDIFICE Shinjuku pop-up, where a collection of tees, hoodies and accessories reside. This is in line with PSG’s Japan tour.

Fresh off a collaboration with Budweiser, creative Verdy is now teasing another partnership with football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). This unprecedented collaboration was released on his Instagram on 17 July — a timely show of support for PSG that is playing against Kawasaki Frontale on Wednesday, 20 July 2022.

In the image, the Japanese creative’s iconic Vick is seen wearing a PSG uniform, complete with the club’s front-jersey sponsor Qatar Airways. Beside the iPad drawing is what looks like a sample fabric piece with both Paris Saint-Germain’s logo and Vick kicking a football. Such a display prompts fans to believe that an upcoming apparel collection might be dropping soon from Verdy, but only time will tell.
