The New Balance 1906R has earned a cherished status within the sportswear label’s collection of retro running silhouettes. This popularity prompted the introduction of several alternatives to the lineup, including the 1906U. Now, a fresh iteration of the model emerges in a “Linen” colorway, recognized as the 1906F.

While the 1906F “Linen” retains the majority of the 1906R’s tooling, it introduces a suede heel panel, replacing the usual TPU caging. Additionally, the model incorporates a mesh foundation and suede overlays.

Incorporating other technical elements such as the well-known N-lock lacing system, N-ergy cushioning, and an ABZORB sole unit, the pair is complete with a grayscale color scheme, adding the final touch to its design.

Launching as a 30th-anniversary exclusive for the Japanese retailer EDIFICE, the New Balance 1906F “Linen” is currently open for pre-orders through EDIFICE. The official release is scheduled for 9 February, with a retail price set at 22,000 JPY (~US$150).
