Introduced in 2022, the New Balance 990v6 is the latest addition to the beloved 990 series. It fell under the purview of Teddy Santis, Creative Director of the brand’s MADE in USA division, and has since been an integral part of its many releases since.

Based on the early images, the titular pair showcases a white textile base that harmonizes with the “N” logos, laces, tongue, and the fore of the midsole. The introduction of black outlines the “N” logos, appears in the tongue branding, and is incorporated through overlays, while gray makes an appearance on the suede mudguard and eyestays.

Providing support, its substantial sole unit combines the aforementioned white segment with an off-white section around the heel, finished off by a black rubber outsole.

New Balance hasn’t confirmed a fifth season of Teddy Santis’ MADE in USA line. However, this greyscale 990v6 dropping on 8 February through New Balance and select retailers, could be a sneak peek at things to come. Stay tuned!
