The “Black Cat” moniker might not be the most popular nickname one would refer the great Michael Jordan to, but nonetheless it’s one that has translated well into the Air Jordan series. According to @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles, the Nike Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat” is set to return next year.

First dropping all the way back in 2007, the AJ3 “Black Cat” is one of the most desired colorways in the silhouette, and for good reason. It embodies MJ’s stealthy yet agile playstyle, paying homage to his alpha predatory vibes back in the day.

While no images of the upcoming pair have surfaced just yet, it is expected that its new rendition will take after its OG predecessor closely. An all-black hue covers the entirety of the sneaker’s nubuck upper, with matching tonal elephant prints adorning the heel and toebox. The only form of contrast arrives on the outsole, where you can find a white Jordan logo embedded into it.
