Love Is in the Air With Two Nike Valentine’s Day Sneakers
The Air Force 1 Low and Cortez gets their "Valentine's Day 2024" treatment.
The Swoosh has always been a big fan of Cupid’s holiday. Every single year, Nike puts out a collection of sneakers dedicated to 14 February—and this upcoming year is no exception. With a pair of Nike SB Dunk Lows, an Air Max 1, and a Dunk Low already in the pipelines, the Swoosh is now ready to expand on it’s Valentine’s Day offerings. In comes a women’s exclusive Air Force 1 Low and Cortez.
The Nike Air Force 1 and Cortez “Valentine’s Day 2024” share a similar design outlook. A creamy white leather upper base, supplemented with dark pink accents all across the sneakers. The AF1 in particular also features an assortment of accessories, including opaque lace dubraes and a glittered profile Swoosh. The Nike branding on the heel has also been cleverly transformed into a flower and heart stamp, which also takes form on the insole.
The Nike Cortez does away with the bling-bling found on its AF1 compatriot. It opts to stay clean and simple, much like its staple silhouette. On the Cortez, the medial Swoosh logo and heel tab have been replaced with suede, while a single soft-pink heart Dubrae rests on the laces. Nike changes things up slightly on the heel, instead opting for a heart stamp instead of the flower found on the AF1.
There’s no better time for love. Instead of flowers, how about presenting your loved one with the Nike Air Force 1 or Cortez “Valentine’s Day 2024”? They’re expected to release somewhere in February next year, at a retail price of US$130 and US$100 respectively.
