Nike and NBA Unveil the 2023–24 City Edition Jerseys
The teams will officially debut the uniforms during the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament on 3 November.
Since signing an eight-year apparel deal with the NBA, Nike has expanded the league’s uniform offerings with the introduction of the City Edition series.
The special series puts focus court, community, and culture as each uniform taps into the history and heritage that makes each franchise unique. Entering its seventh season to date, the City Edition collection continues to gain popularity among fans with each release highly anticipated.
Highlights from this 2023–24 edition include:
Brooklyn Nets: The Nets collaborated with local artist and longtime fan KAWS to create a uniform that features his signature motifs.
Dallas Mavericks: The Mavericks’ uniform draws inspiration from North Texas native Leon Bridges and his smooth R&B sound.
Denver Nuggets: The reigning NBA champions sport a “5280” imprint across the chest, nodding to the city’s mile-high elevation.
New York Knicks: The work of the Knicks’ newly-minted creative director, Kith’s Ronnie Fieg centralizes the “New York, New York” wordmark, a nod to the “Karaoke Cam moment where they play Sinatra’s ‘Theme from New York, New York’ over the speakers.”
Home teams will be wearing their City Edition uniforms during the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament, which begins on 3 November. The uniforms are available now on Nike and the NBA’s websites with an RRP of US$120.
