One Block Down x Mizuno Wave Rider 10 “Flame Wave” Is Ready To Ignite
Get your extinguishers ready on 10 November.
In a collaboration that can only be described as around the world, Italy’s One Block Down and Japan’s Mizuno are coming together to create a pack of Wave Rider 10s, known as the “Flame Wave” collection. It sees three colorways, “Onyx”, “Koi”, and “Amazon” applied on the resurging Wave Rider 10.
In more ways than one, One Block Down reignites the Wave Rider 10, reworking the silhouette from its traditional build. For starters, the entire upper is redesigned with a new breathable mesh upper. The toe box is also reworked to feature a fiery overlay, giving rise to the name of the collaboration. This is further amplified through a flaming sun motif on the heel.
Primarily, all three colorways employ a glossy two-tone palette, with a slight dose of cream chiming in on the back end of the sole. “Onyx” mainly mixes black and white, “Koi” using red and white, while “Amazon” introduces lime-green into the mix.
