The Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic” was most famously worn by Scottie Pippen at the 1996 Atlanta Games. Ahead of next year’s Summer Olympics in Paris, the pair will return with the same palette of White, Midnight Navy, Metallic Gold, and University Red.
Its reintroduction stays faithful to its blueprint, featuring the hallmark “AIR” motif in White over a Navy nubuck base. The same color scheme proliferating the midsole and its Air sole units.
On the heel tab is Scottie Pippen’s Olympic jersey number, “8”, outlined in Metallic Gold, presiding over a Navy jewel Swoosh.
The Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic” is expected to arrive in the fall next year, just ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics taking place between 26 July to 11 August. Stay tuned for more updates to emerge in the coming months!
