Denim Tears and Dr. Martens Partner for a “Union Black” Collection
Paying homage to the legacy of the Windrush generation.
Alongside their long-term partnership with Levi’s, Denim Tears has now officially tapped Dr. Martens for their latest “Union Black” collection.
Paying homage to the legacy of the Windrush generation, Denim Tears offers their take on classic Dr. Martens silhouettes through designs based on the identity and aesthetics of the African diaspora in Britain.
Presenting the Penton Loafer and 1460 Boot models, the collaborative pairs feature British artist Chris Ofili’s Union Black flag graphic on the front and co-branding on the insoles. Adapting the alternate color scheme, each model arrives in both black and red renditions.
For those interested in copping, the Denim Tears x Dr. Martens “Union Black” collection is now available for purchase via Denim Tears’ website. Prices are set at US$260 for the Penton Loafers and US$280 for the 1460 Boots.
