[Update 11 Jun 2024] The RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis in “Black/Wild Berry” will see a 21 June release via SNKRS. The pair is also known by the colorway moniker “Void”. Get it at a retail price of US$222 on drop day. You may also purchase the pair via the SNKRDUNK App once it becomes available.

[Update 20 Nov 2023] After the RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis collection debuted at last year’s ComplexCon, the “Black/Wild Berry” colorway is set to release on 13 June. This will be the only colorway that doesn’t require an NFT for purchase.

The release will be limited to 1,000 pairs, down from the original 11,394 that were available for pre-order last year. The RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis “Black/Wild Berry” will retail for US$222.

[Update 20 Nov 2023] Following a release at ComplexCon 2023, the RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis collection is slated to launch online via shop.rtfkt.com on 20 November 11AM EST and 8PM EST. Each pair will retail for US$222 in ETH plus the associated “gas fees”.

[Update 19 Oct 2023] Two more colorways of the RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis have surfaced. Adding to the original “Silver/Cream” OG are the VOID and Clone X. Check them out at the gallery above! The Forging Event has begun and will end on 30 October.

If you’ve qualified and purchased any of the three, expect them to be shipped to you sometime in June 2024.

The RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis, a joint effort between the digital luxury label and the Swoosh, is still in development, but the “Forging Event” is right around the corner. The occasion will allow holders of eligible NFTs to redeem their NFTs for physical pairs of the Dunk Genesis.

Taking place from 18 to 30 October, there will be a total of three colorways on offer, all of which will cost the equivalent of US$222 in ETH “plus a little extra for gas fees” to redeem.

Ahead of the event, RTFKT has teased an in-hand look. The sneakers retain the iconic silhouette of the Nike Dunk Low, but with RTFKT’s signature avant-garde touch.

A standout feature is the enhanced Swoosh, which bears an extra overlay. The one-piece upper construction is accentuated by hand-drawn lines, suggesting potential panel placements and highlighting the meticulous design phase.

RTFKT’s hallmark branding shines through on the midsole, with the label’s signature lightning bolt emblazoned near the toe and “Enhanced by RTFKT” inscribed near the heel.

The final iterations of this colorway as well as the accompanying two designs will be published on a dedicated microsite before October 18th.
