There’s been a plethora of footwear collaborations over the past decade or so. But few have impacted the sneakersphere and the wider fashion industry as much as Travis Scott and Jordan Brand’s “Mocha” releases in 2019. There’s hardly a sneakerhead out there who wouldn’t be able to recognize them, and it remains at the top of a lot of people’s wish lists even now.

But, good news for those who are still looking for a pair: Japanese digital auction platform ATE THAT is restocking one pair of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Dark Mocha” for retail on 28 August.

In 2019, the duo released both an Air Jordan 1 High and a Low, with the Highs releasing in May while the Lows dropped in July. While both featured Mocha as its most prominent color on the overlays, the High featured a white base on the upper, while the Low switched it out for an all-black look. The Lows also featured mismatched-colored Swooshes, with a white reverse Swoosh on the lateral while Mocha nubuck takes on the medial Swoosh.

As mentioned above, most sneakerheads are already familiar (or tired) of the TS AJ1 Low “Dark Mocha”. But, the euphoria surrounding its original release date was immeasurable. Especially the fact that most people took an L on the Mocha Highs, and that naturally led to a crazy demand when the Lows released. That hype has continued till now, when a brand new pair on the aftermarket will cost you at least US$1500+.
