Chunky Soles and Dad Shoe Aesthetics, the Nike Tech Hera’s Got It Covered
Inspired by early 2000s running shoes, the Tech Hera is everything you'd want in a platform sneaker.
Trends have come and gone with some more prevalent than others. In the status quo, there is a lot of favor for the dad shoe aesthetic, and by extension, chunky soles. Among all the Y2K-inspired runners such as the Zoom Vomero 5 in Nike’s catalogue, there’s the Tech Herra.
Dressed in a palette of Black and White, the pair sports all the elements that makes this brand of design so appealing. White serves as the base layer imbuing its mesh construction and midsoles; with Black engulfing the pervasive suede overlays, and the outsole underfoot.
They’re currently available now on Nike’s brick-and-click stores for US$110.
