Quickly succeeding their golf-focused pack of Sambas earlier this month, Kith Classics and adidas Originals turn their attention to tennis, reviving three silhouettes from the archives: the Rod Laver, IL Comp, and Torsion Edberg.

Each model receives a makeover accented with deep Royal Blue highlights and a special Kith for adidas Originals co-branding. The collection pays homage to different eras of tennis, with the same iconic elements that made them a Three Stripes hallmark.

First is Australian tennis player Rod Laver’s signature that features a knitted mesh upper paired with pigskin nubuck overlays.

It’s followed by the Torsion Edberg, the namesake of Swedish Star Stefan Edberg. It embraces a more maximalist make and features a variety of accentuating details. The upper of this shoe is expertly crafted from superior full-grain leather and accented with pigskin nubuck.

Last but not least, the IL Comp maintains its functional heritage from 1985 for both on-court performance and off-court flair. For a timeless and adaptable style, its knitted mesh top is coupled with full-grain leather overlays.

All three pairs are scheduled for release on 21 August. Find them at all Kith brick-and-click stores from 11 am, and via the Kith App.
