Both HUF and Thrasher have rich histories and extensive connections to the Bay Area. After all, both brands were born in San Francisco. The very first HUF store opened in 2002, stocking rare sneakers, skate and streetwear. Eventually, the brand started selling HUF shirts and hats, which kickstarted their transition into an iconic skate and streetwear label. Thrasher began operations in 1981, a good two decades before HUF. The Thrasher Magazine primarily published skateboarding-related material to promote the founders’ skateboard truck company. Over more than 40 years, Thrasher consistently expanded, exploring new ventures in photojournalism and creating their own apparel lines. Now, Thrasher is arguably one of the most influential brands when it comes to the world of skateboarding.

Considering the cultural significance of both brands, the HUF x Thrasher Collection not only celebrates their combined legacies, but also the growth of skate and street culture worldwide. The collaboration produced a selection of short and long-sleeve t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, shorts, trousers, socks, caps, beanies, slides, even baseball bats and cruiser boards. Besides featuring HUF and Thrasher’s iconic branding, the collection mixes authentic vintage designs with modern takes on some of the brands’ most well-known imagery, such as Thrasher’s Skate Goat. There’s something for everybody in this almost overwhelming lineup.

The HUF x Thrasher Collection drops on 6 June 2022, 9:00AM PST on HUF’s online store.
