Nike and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Greek Freak line has some of the most pavonine offerings in the recent zeitgeist. But once in awhile, it abandons all regalia and opts for a supreme clean aesthetic. Such as this Zoom Freak 5’s “White” makeup.

The all-White pair arrives in the midst of the summer, with its leather overlays on the toe, heel, and profile Swooshes. Although achromatic in palette, the upper is adorned with a unique patterned finish on its translucent TPU base panels. Patterns reminiscent of the floors of grand Greek palaces.

Branding elements are introduced with the Swoosh’s on the heels, as well as the tonal emboridery of the Greek Freak’s triangular logo on the tongue.

For functionality, mesh tongues preside over a White Zoom Air-equipped foam midsole as it sits atop a White crisp rubber outsole.

Expect to see the shoes in Nike’s brick-and-click stores within the coming months for US$140.
