[Update 16 Oct 2023] LINE FRIENDS have announced the release of a new lineup of NewJeans smartphone cases, which includes collaborative designs with The Powerpuff Girls series. A corresponding character photocard will also be presented with each smartphone case purchase.

[Update 7 Sep 2023] Additional NewJeans x LINE FRIENDS merch such as Powerpuff Girls card holders, bunny pens, neck pillows and more have been revealed. The items will launch globally on 11 September 7pm PDT via LINE FRIENDS COLLECTION.

Similar to its initial drop, orders above 50,000 KRW will be presented with a reusable Get Up bag.

PLAY LINE FRIENDS has announced upcoming pop-up installments in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines alongside an online drop via Shopee. [Update 14 Aug 2023] International Bunnies, rejoice! Following a successful launch of the pop-up stores in South Korea, the NewJeans x LINE FRIENDS merch is said to see a global online release on 17 August 7pm PDT via LINE FRIENDS COLLECTION. [Update 7 Aug 2023] Additional NewJeans x LINE FRIENDS merch consisting of keyrings, stationeries and more have been revealed. The items will be made available for purchase via the LINE FRIENDS Gangnam and Hongdae stores during the pop-up period. [Update 1 Aug 2023] More details have been revealed for the NewJeans x LINE FRIENDS collaboration. The pop-up installments at LINE FRIENDS’ Gangnam and Hongdae outlets are set to run from 11 to 31 August.

Prior to that, the duo has also unveiled an exclusive merch collection, consisting of plush toys, smartphone cases and more. Pre-orders for the collection will run from 2 to 4 August and users whose orders exceed US$50 will be presented a free NewJeans Get Up reusable bag.

K-Pop girl group NewJeans has been popping off the charts lately with their latest hits including “NewJeans” and “Super Shy”. 21 July officially marks the release of their “Get Up” EP and in conjunction to that, LINE FRIENDS Corporation has taken to Instagram to tease an upcoming collaboration with the girl group.

A store front image was shared, which showcase the K-Pop girl group alongside avatars inspired by The Powerpuff Girls, as seen in their music video for “NewJeans.”

Despite the absence of any additional information regarding the collaborative project, set to be unveiled on 11 August, there is a strong likelihood that exclusive content and merchandise will be offered on that occasion.
